1979 Ford Bronco Custom Description

This Bronco runs and drives great... It needs onlyminor body work, paint, and weather stripping. Sme painted black areas on the body indicate a small dents or where body work is needed. The upper right rear quarter panel has a patch of bondo that was there when I bought the truck, so I don't know the history there. The vehicle is virtually rust free except for a silver dollar sized area located behind the spare tire rack. That area has been repaired.

The previous owner smartly added a custom fabricated water reservoir below the radiator since the 351M's had a common overheating problem. The engine runs extremely cool even when Climbing steep grades for extended periods. During my last trip up to 8000 feet the temp gauge registered a hair above the initial line indicating normal operating temp and stayed there the entire trip. She's a great runner!

Tires are 33 x 12.50 Pro Comp. Front are new, Rear will need to be replaced within 10K miles.

All gauges work.

The Manual transmission (T18) shifts flawlessly and the 4x4 works.

I have the original Air conditioning compressor but it disconnected.

The interior door panels, headliner and dash were reconstructed and redone by me, Im not an expert at it and could have opted to buy replacement parts from LMC but thought I'd give it a shot anyway. There is no carpet since I was going to Rhino Liner the interior. The nice thing about it not having carpet is one can see that the sheet metal is in rust free and in excellent condition. The front seats are out of a newer Bronco, but I do have the originals. They will need reupolstering. The rear bench seat is original and needs only to be recovered as the foam is satisfactory for reupulstering.

The tailgate window works great using the interior switch or tailgate key.

If you have questions or would like to see photos of a specific areas on the Bronco, I will provide them upon request.

The Bronco has a Clear Title andis sold "As Is".
