1968 FORD THUNDERBIRD COUPE. It is originally a California car and is very solid all the way around and underneath. Interior is exceptionally nice and appears to be original. It has the 429 THUNDERJET V8 power plant. It has AC and power steering! The condition is exceptional for an unrestored 1968 vehicle. Everything is there whether you choose to do some minimal resto and TLC work or drive it as is. The car has been in California since new, and offers original black plates. It has had two owners in the past and spent most of its time in Monterey County. It runs excellent and the motor is very healthy. No strange noises, radles etc. it drives very smoothly and has power steering. The car is well serviced. All the paperwork is available from a clean California title, other service records, and old registrations. The AC still blows cold air, radio works properly, all the lights work, the vacuum lines are good, etc. There is one area of rust, being just under the back windshield. Overall it is solid and straight, as you can see from the pictures, and comes with all the right options. the legendary Ford 429 Thunderjet engine, developed for road racing against the 426 Hemi of the day, it isn't shy about get-up-and-go. There are all of the appropriate luxury items such as power seats, windows, brakes and steering, coupled with factory Magic-Aire Air Conditioning.
