1992 Ford F-150 Description

1992 Ford F150 XLT Single Family Owned (Father/Son) 102,700 Miles 5.0L EFI V8 / AOD Automatic Transmission Clean CarFax/Autocheck Report CONSIGNMENT SALE – PRIVATE PARTY VIN: 1FTDF15N1NLA52835 1: USA F: Ford T: Truck D: 5,000-6,000lbs GVWR F15: Rear Wheel Drive, Standard Cab N: 5.0L V8, Electronic Fuel Injection 1: Check Digit N: 1992 Model Year L: Wayne, Michigan Assembly Plant A52835: Sequence Number Paint: Vermilion (EP) & Medium Cabernet (EH) Interior: Scarlet Red Cloth Bench Seat (DD4) District Sales Office: Chicago, IL (41) Transmission: Ford AOD Automatic (T) Axle: Ford 8.8. 3.55 Gear Ratio, Non-LS (19) Exterior: Please see the video along with the listing, as the truck is shown in detail. This truck has been repainted in the correct color once and presents phenomenally well. We put a paint gauge on every panel and did not find any filler or inconsistencies. Elcometer reads between 4.5-7.5 throughout. Body is bone dry; there is no bubbling or anything close to it. There’s really just one ding/scuff to knock on it, and it’s located below the passenger taillight and behind the rear bumper...very much hidden from view. See the video for a close-up. This truck has been babied by the original owner’s family ever since new, and their fastidiousness is clearly evident. Polished surfaces are excellent; chrome is mirror-like throughout. Bumpers are free of any dents or scuffs, extremely clean. Bed is much of the same, just about spotless. No damage or significant scratches. Black vinyl LOPRO bed cover is excellent, fits nice and snug (velco and latches down). No shortage of bells and whistles on this truck; mudflaps, a grille guard, corner lights, a spotlight, running boards, and more have all been added. Chrome, steel-style wheels look great, with no oxidation or scuffing. Spare is the same, but not chromed. Hankook tires are in great shape and the DOT number indicates that they were manufactured in 2016. Plenty of tread life remaining. Glass is all clear and crack-free. Weatherstripping is excellent throughout. Interior: Again, please defer to the photos and video. Interior is in impressive shape. There’s some slight wear on the original scarlet red cloth; the outside of the driver’s seat bottom is worn a bit thin and greying, and there’s a small marking on the driver’s door panel arm rest area. No punctures, burst seams, etc. Overall very nice. Original red carpeting is in great shape – no discoloring, fraying, or pilling. Matching Ford rubber floormats will come with the car as well. Dash top is excellent, with no scuffs, cracks, etc. A compass has been mounted on top of the dash with one tiny screw into the black plastic. Gauges are all functional, and the odometer reading of 102,700 is accurate. Tachometer is a little wonky in that it hangs around 2500rpm until you exceed that, but then it will engage. Fan and heat are good, as is the air conditioning. AC is still on the original R12 though – it has not been converted to R134a refrigerant. Stock radio and cassette player is functional and sounds great. Parcel shelf above the sun visors is loaded with classic cassettes. This truck does have cruise control, as well as power windows, locks, and adjustable lumbar support. Mechanical / Underbody: Please take a look through the underbody photos, as the truck is shown in detail. Underbody looks extremely nice. No damage, through rust, and hardly even much surface rust to note. No evidence of any past metal work. This truck has been extremely well taken care of. The truck starts first turn, idles cool and steady, pulls hard through the gears, shifts smoothly, tracks straight, brakes straight and effectively, and is free of any exhaust leaks (Eagle exhaust tip has been added as well). The truck truly drives like new. No steering play, strange tendencies, or noises of concern. Fly in and drive home with complete confidence. An excellent highway cruiser. This truck will come with a fair bit of documentation, including the original owners manual, warranty booklet, sound system guide, as well as a couple other relatively insignificant receipts. The record log portion of the original manual is actually filled out with multiple entries, with oil changes recorded every 2500 miles from 4/15/1992 at 530 miles (first entry) to 3/16/1998 at 36,102 miles (last entry).
