1972 Ford F-100 F100 Description

For the past 30 years the same family has owned this truck! Although been sitting for about 8 years we have it running again by removing the fuel tank, cleaning interior of the tank and also replacing the fuel pump.
The newest items we have put on the truck are as follows: (March 2020)
Oil changeGold oil filterFuel pumpFuel filterFuel tank floatWiper blades
Our local state college LCSC rebuilt the motor and we have the original paperwork from the work they performed. The picture of the paperwork shows and itemized list of all the parts that were used and replaced on the motor. (circa 2004 and has only around 2k miles on it since rebuilt)
The original motor, a Ford 360, was rebuilt to become a 390 by replacing the rods, crank, and boring the cylinders. Along with that they installed a new clutch and ground down the flywheel. During their rebuild process they also did a complete brake job, replaced shocks, replaced U-joints, and installed a dual exhaust system! Road ready!
The motor was fitted with an Edlebrock carburetor and intake, along with headers. Runs amazing and is mechanically sound.
With minimal rust and all the major repairs completed, this would be a great driver and even an easy restoration project although it’s good to go as is!
There is some cosmetic issues with the truck as you can see in the pictures but overall its in great shape! There’s a couple small dings in the upper part of a cab.The truck does have some rust in the typical spots for this year and vintage of truck. The truck bed floor has rust holes in the front from debris that blew into the truck when it was sitting.
More pictures available at Funke's Auto!
The truck has saddle tanks that were installed and they are non-functional at this time. The transfer case is a two speed with four wheel drive high and 2 wheel drive high, no low range. The truck is equipped with power brakes but does not have power steering. Appears the truck was repainted some years back but we do not have any information as to when.
