1969 Ford Torino GT Description

1969 Ford Torino GT fastback, 1 of 1 built, ram air, 428 super cobra jet, 4 speed close ratio toploader, 9" W code 4:30:1 Traction-lok rear, Red exterior with black C stripe, Black bucket seats, project car. This is a pretty solid car to redo. Please see the Marti reports.
The list below has missing parts listed. I put a * behind it if I have it from my other parts cars and will include that part.
Body: GT grille is cracked in the usual spots but can be repaired, front bumper is dented*, front lower cross member below the radiator looks like every butt head hooked their winch cable on to it, can be fixed in place and not rotted, battery apron is good, frame rails are good, inner fenders are good, firewall is good, cowl is not rotted, cowl cover has a minor ding*, hood scoop* is missing but I have one, hood is junk ( typical bent at rear hinge area plus more dents, maybe use as a template for ram air pie cut ), hood peak molding is dented*, both front fenders are dented ( I have to look for these in my other pile as I think I got a pair ), passenger door is trash* ( matching rust free door included ), drivers door dented* ( rust free one included ), has original door ta, roof has dents, passenger 1/4 has rot at bottom about the size of a baseball behind the rear wheel, typical, along with a CB antannae hole, driver side 1/4 has dents, trunk lid is decent but has some pinholes, rear panel is good, rear bumper is a good.
Underneath is good front frame rails, torque boxes, driver front floor/toe need a pan, passenger front pan/toe needs a pan, 4 speed hump is good, small spot at bucket seat reinforcement on drivers side, outer rockers good, diver side rear front rail has a fixable bang ( probably from a jack ), passenger good, and from under the bucket seats back is all good, floors, transition pan, staggered 4 speed rear shock panel, inner/outer wheel wells, trunk drop off, rear frame rails, and trunk floor are good as well as trunk lip where trunk lid gasket seats has a very small spot( usually gone ). Gas tank is dented good. They are now making sheet metal for these cars ( AMD brand ).
Suspension is all original, front big sway bar with special spacers is in tact, power front disc brakes roll easy, missing the power brake booster/bracket*, power steering has a broken shaft at control piston*, speedo cable is there, steering box, original 9" N case rear with 31 spline axles and 4:30 gears in the traction-lok unit, brakes and rolls easy, factory rear leafs with a ding dong shackle installed ( way cool, not ). Has 4 original chrome GT styled steel wheels and caps. Tires hold air. Just put used tires on the GT wheels. Magnums are NOT included.
Interior is missing a lot but has factory 4 speed tach wiring AND tach cluster ( I am donating the tach/wiring from my pile ), nice padded dash*, lower dash is in with original am/fm radio, broken kick panels*, 69 bucket seats ( correct 69 emblems ), no console, no carpet, missing driver side door panel ( I think I have one but havent had time to look ), rear interior 1/4 panels missing, back seat is there, missing belts*, package tray is there, windshield is missing, door glass is gone* ( I have correct 69 door glass with weatherstrip for both sides, ( not 68 ).
Engine scj shortblock is rebuilt and date correct and casting numbers correct but NOT original to the car, so no matching VIN stamp, car was built in mid June of 1969, late car, motor short block is May 1969 dates which is the correct time window, intake to pan, dampner to block plate. I popped the pan to see the 1UA crank, lemans rods, etc. I need to take a pic thru the spark plug hole to show new pistons. I can see all fresh machine work. like pistons, valve seats, crank/rods cut, etc
Intake is december 1968, heads are march 1969 ( rebuilt ), short block is May 69, 30 over trw forged pistons, lemans rods, 1UA crank. Fresh.
Trans is a correct 4 speed toploader, big in, big out, close ratio 4 speed, Rug AJ, not original to car but correct casting numbers. Bellhousing is the same deal, correct big bell with hump and Z on it but I think dated september 14, 1968 ( 8J14 ). Might swap this bell housing out as I think I have a better date.
What you see in the pictures is what you get except for me adding the missing parts that I do have
I can send more pics thru "WhatsApp". That allows 30 pics at a time or text. Not emailing 5 pics at a time because that would take hours.
Car is for sale locally on Philadelphia C list and marketplace in Doylestown
I have parted out many 1969 R code Torinos, 1969 R code Fairlanes and Cobras. Have some "shells" still. And by "shell" I mean there is nothing left, bodies stripped, drivetrains gone, suspension gone, interior gone, cut up body etc. Yes I have the goodies to make your car into a Cobra, oe R code Torino or code Fairlane
I reserve the right to end this auction at any time
If you have less than 10 bids call first.
