This 1971 Ford Torino Cobra is an Atlanta-built two-door sportsroof coupe that was delivered new to Liberty Ford of La Verne, California. Refinished in Grabber Green Metallic over a black vinyl interior, the car is powered by a 351ci V8 paired with an automatic transmission. Equipment includes a Tutone grille and rear panel, 15? wheels, racing mirrors, power steering, power brakes with front discs, dual exhaust, a B&M shifter, a Kenwood head unit, and more. The car reportedly was refurbished under prior ownership and was acquired by the current owner approximately 10 years ago. This Torino Cobra is now offered on dealership consignment with an Elite Marti report, a copy of the window sticker, a spare automatic transmission, and a clean California title.
Refinished in Grabber Green Metallic (Z) along with fitting a standard Torino hood with twist-type external locks. Equipment includes a Tutone grille and rear panel, a front air dam, racing mirrors, concealed windshield wipers, Cobra badges, and dual exhaust outlets.
Magnum 500 15? wheels wear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires in sizes 225/60 at the front and 235/60 rear. The car was equipped from the factory with heavy-duty suspension along with power front disc brakes.
The interior features front and rear vinyl bench seats with pleated inserts. Additional equipment includes an aftermarket center console, an electric clock, a B&M shifter, and a Kenwood head unit with dual rear speakers. A tear is present on the corner of the driver's seat cushion, as shown in the photo gallery below.
A Grant three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer and a five-digit odometer showing just over 44k miles.
The 351ci V8 is fitted with a Cobra-branded air cleaner, Street Fire ignition, MSD distributor, chrome valve covers, an aftermarket radiator with braided coolant hoses, a Powermaster alternator, and more. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a C-6 Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, and the selling dealer states that the original automatic transmission is included in the sale.
