1970 Ford F100 Custom
1970 Ford F-100 Description
I personally think it could use a magnetic pickup conversion from the points style distributor. This would make it more reliable. Also the carburetor needs to be replaced or rebuilt. The bowl overflows when the truck is turned off. The rust is minimal on the entire truck besides the obvious spots pictured and also picture are the solid points. It would make a great truck to lower and drive around town for advertisement or fun. The truck cab is solid and had zee bart liner sprayed onto it sometime during its life preserving the cab pretty well. There is a spot size of quarter in driver floor pan, see pics. The hood was not preserved but its structurally fine, with some spots that need to be addressed. The steering and brakes all feel tight. The clutch is new and feels new, no stuttering. No smoke from the motor when running. It has an exhaust leak at manifold to exhaust flange. The truck is sold with a BILL OF SALE ONLY, being the title was lost. In the state of GA, AL, and some other states you are not required to have a title for vehicles older than 1986. This means that the when you go to the registration office and you give them a bill of sale and proof of insurance, they give you a transferrable registration. So please check with your local tag office to see what is required to obtain registration or a replacement title. The VIN is clean.
