1964 Ford Anglia Description

This '64 English Ford Anglia 105 E is a good little driver that could be an exceptional one with a bit of cosmetic work.
The car starts and idles easily even cold thanks to the new Weber single barrel carburetor and has good power (considering its a 1.0L engine) and fells peppy. Along with the new carburetor the engine was given a general tune up including new spark plugs and a timing adjustment. The valve cover gasket was also replaced.
The brakes have just been serviced including a new Girling master cylinder, all four corners were inspected, the rear passenger side wheel cylinder was honed and rebuilt and the brake shoes and front wheel bearings were adjusted as well.
The interior of the car is in good condition, the previous owner had the seats and door cards redone as well as the rubber floor liner. He also replaced the original radio with a more modern head unit and installed a tachometer and clock next to the original speedometer. The exterior of this Anglia is in fair condition, the body shows no signs of rust but it does appear that the floors were replaced by the previous owner as well. He had it repainted in the original white color but the paint job doesn't appear to be very high quality and the car shows many small dents and dings, its presentable as a driver but the car could use a professional repaint to take it to the next level! The tires on the car are old and are showing signs of dry rot, I would recommend replacing them before racking up much more mileage on the car.
This a great car that can be enjoyed as is or with a bit of time and attention to detail can be a true head turner
