1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 - This Beutiful Shelby GT350 was originally optioned according to the Marti Report as a Maroon on White GT350 with a 4 speed transmission. What you see now is a fully restored and updated drivable Resto-Mod. The drive train is now a fuel injected 427 small block producing 525 horsepower at the rear wheels connected to a Tremac 5 speed transmission. The attention to detail on the build was fantastic. Everything works including all of the original gauges and clock. The body and chassis show excellent. This car was not restored as a purist Shelby it was built to be driven. The original parts were retainedto restore to originalspec if desired. A summery of the original parts are below. We will not be selling the partsseparatelythey will go to the buyer of the car. The build currently has just under 3000 miles. The chassis has about 111,000.
The owner had a dream of building a modern drivable car capable of getting in and driving across the country. The Motor is very strong, and starts and runs perfectly. The A/C blows ice cold even on the hottest of days. The transmission shifts fantastically. This Shelby was purchased as solid running and driving legitimate GT350. I have a complete detailed spreadsheet documenting a total of 196,000 dollars that was spent including the original purchase of the car. The build was completed by American Legends Hot Rods and Muscle Cars in Phoenix Arizona. The build was completed to make sure the car can be returned to completely stock. This GT350 was not altered to complete the build.
