Dressed in Burgundy on the outside and Tan on the inside, this top of the line Super Deluxe paint and trim are in pristine condition, with minor lacquer deterioration visible upon close inspection, primarily only on the bottom of the trunk.
All of the car's body panels are solid and straight, including the tan convertible soft top with its correct tan window and matching boot, and its gleaming chrome bumpers. Its trunk is in great shape and includes a full-size spare tire. The engine bay is quite tidy and the battery appears new.
Under the hood is the original Ford Flathead V-8 engine, mated to a three-speed manual transmission, 6-volt battery, Ford’s 8BA two-barrel downdraft carburetor, Transverse leaf spring suspension, that has exquisitely been up kept in a climate-controlled facility where it never saw rain but got plenty of attention on a daily basis from the in house mechanic. It has its original solid front axle with live rear axle.
Inside, the car's genuine tan leather interior is quite a striking contrast to the Burgundy exterior. The seats are in perfect condition. The original red metal instrument panel, with its Faux wood interior trim, is in exceptional order. The two-spoke steering wheel is in excellent bearing while the inner door panels and mirror glass are in superior condition.
This classic beauty was meticulously rotisserie restored to perfect condition in year 2005 and recently went through a major service maintenance which serviced all the fuel system, brake system and mechanical system which includes replacing the brake lines, drums and shoes, fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel filter, coil, carburetor was completely serviced, as well as a fresh tune up .The undercarriage is as beautiful as it was when it first came off the line, very tidy, neat and clean.
She drives straight and true with power and elegance. There is no swaying to the left or right and she has a very solid body. While cruising down the coastline of PCH along Malibu, there was not one eye or compliment that was not paid to her exquisite looks and drive.
