1979 Ford F-250 4x4 460 C6 Beautiful Truck

1979 Ford F-250 Description

I am selling my baby. 1979 Ford F-250 4x4. It has a good running 460, C6 auto transmission. It has a Dana 44 front end and Dana 60 rear. The truck has been restored years back. It was painted bright red inside and out. All of the sheet metal is rust free original ford metal. The paint is beautiful, but not perfect. This would be a great driver and still looks good enough for local car shows. The passenger door does have a large spot where the paint has chipped and you can see the original paint showing. There also is some cracking filler on the front of the hood. The body is very straight. There are dings and some waves, but no major dents. The truck shines up and looks excellent. The interior is in great shape. The original seat is torn, but there is a new cover on the seat. The door panels are like new, same with the dash pad. The factory radio is gone, but I have a newer aftermarket one to replace it. The headliner is also in excellent shape. The engine is a great running 460. It has a new Edelbrock intake, newer Holley 4bbl carb. All new plugs, wires, cap and rotor and fuel filter. The factory exhaust manifolds are in good shape and no leaks. It does have dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers. The truck also has dual fuel tanks. The truck will have a new master cylinder for the brakes when it sells. The truck is not perfect. It needs some little things to make it closer. It could use a left tie rod, left wing window latch, the left front leaf seems to be sagging and a couple other small items. I do not have time or space to tinker and parking. I have more pictures available and if you want specific pics, let me know and I will get them. I will surely regret selling my baby, but I need it to go. I just replaced the headlights and dash lights with LED upgrades. It has USA Forged black 18 inch wheels and 35x12.5x18 Toyo MT tires that are approx 30-50% tread. Please feel free to ask questions (425)350-0192 Chad.
