RELISTING DUE TO ZERO FEEDBACK BUYER - AND THEN NO CONTACT. I HAVE CHANGED MY BUYER REQUIREMENTS SO HOPEFULLY THIS WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. HERE WE GO! Offering this nice 1988 Ford Mustang GT. This car can be driven as is or a great base for additional modifications. I will list the pros and cons. PROS: * Always a CA car - completely rust free. * No paperwork but engine appears to have been rebuilt recently. Very strong engine - Great Compression! * I had compression done at Papini's Garage(See a copy of the compression test in the photos section) - they specialize in Mustang Performance. You can look them up.* Nice performance upgrades; BBK Shorty headers, BBK throttle body, Performance Air Intake, Exhaust including Magnaflow mufflers - sounds great!. * Runs, shifts, drives very good. No grinds with shifting up or down. Tons of power! * Brand new rear brake drums and pads - rebuild kit. * Brand new front drilled/ slotted rotors and pads. Wheels bearings repacked. * Brand new performance tires* Head lights, high beams, rear lights, brake lots, hazards, interior dome light, gauge lights - all work! * All gauges working, radio working. * Clean Carfax. All original body panels - original VIN stickers on all panels. CONS:* Car is a 20 footer. Looks really nice from that distance but up close you will notice the flaws -It appears there has been one repaint in original color but was not high quality. Car used to be two tone(Silver on bottom). * Stress cracks on 1/4 pillars. Not too bad yet but will need subframe connectors to prevent further damage. Hood, doors, trunk all open and close normal. * Front driver fender does not line up perfect to door. * A few indents on the body and roof. * Turn signals and blower motor for AC / Heater not working. * Will not pass CA Smog due to performance upgrades* Interior has some minor flaws here and there but overall looks nice. * Power windows work but the passenger side switch was somehow reversed(From the driver side you press up to go down and down to go up). * Door locks do not work. * Rear window tint in bad shape. The car is currently in my name - I took care of all CA back fees and it is now on Non-Op. For this reason there will be no issues getting vehicle registered in your state - or in CA if you live here and want to tackle the smog issue. The car is not perfect - but all issues are repairable things you can fix along the way while you are enjoying it. If you have been looking for an affordable fox body to get you in the door this is it. GREAT ENGINE(Compression tests to prove it), QUALITY PERFORMANCE UPGRADES, RUST FREE all ORIGINAL BODY, RUNS and DRIVES XLNT - NEW TIRES and BRAKES all around. The rest is up to you.
