Up for sale is the Iconic “Champagne Coupe”. This 1932 all Henry Ford Steel 5 window was built by the world famous So-Cal Speedshop in Pomona California under the guide of the late Pete Chapouris, Ryan Reed, and Jimmy Shine. During its construction it was used on the Discovery Channel’s T.V. program “Hard Shine”. When it debuted at the 75th anniversary of the 1932 Ford celebration at the Peterson Museum, rock star and hot rod aficionado Jeff Beck thought the color looked like a fine champagne and from then on it has been known as the “Champagne Coupe”.
Recently, the coupe went through a freshen up and the styling was moved up a decade from a late 50’s era build to a late 60’s era build. There are 450 miles on the car since its re-do and it shows like a fresh build from top to bottom and runs and drives fantastic.
