1930 Ford Model A Description

For all you HOT RODDERS& CAR CRAZY people out there looking fora TRUE HOT ROD that surpasses the “COOL” factor....hereit is!!!One of Henry's BUILT LIKE IT JUST CAME FROM THE 40’s.….READ ON!!!....

You are looking at a true “HOT ROD” just like the way they did it in the beginning but with some “hidden” modern upgrades to make this a reliable driver….no rat rods here!!!

BODY:This is an ORIGINAL Henry Ford ALL STEEL Touring that was found on a farm hidden deep in the valley of Oahu’s west side (usually the dryer part of the island). This Hiboy is for the true hot rodder!!! Frame off build only about six months ago, the body was left with its original patina to keep the vintage look & feel. It does have a couple of rust holes on the cowl & wheel wells, but nothing major that a couple of patch panels can’t take care of. Other than that a VERY SOLID body with solid doors to match.

FRAME:The frame is the original ’30 Model A frame that came with this body and has been kept true to its roots (in other words, not boxed). It retains its original front and rear cross members and has been painted gloss black.

DRIVETRAIN: Rebuilt original 4 banger with Gear Drive Speed & Custom intake and header system topped off with a rebuilt 97 Stromberg. To help make this a reliable driver, all new electrical has been upgraded to a 12 volt system with an alternator. Power is transferred through the rebuilt original transmission.

SUSPENSION:All newly rebuilt brake system with new shoes. All four corners have 16 x 4 wheels that are topped off with new tires (550 x 16 fronts & 750 x 16 in the rear).

INTERIOR:Simple yet effective…..there really is any except for the new wood kit & plywood!!! All switches hidden and an aluminum gas tank add a little “Nostalgic race” feel to the cockpit.

Get ready for SUMMER or the “Race of Gentlemen”!!!

FUN, FUN, FUN…….in the sun!!!

To sum it up, this Touring is a blast to drive!!!It’s well built and updated with enough stuff that you can drive with piece of mind, and in comfort. This Touring is definitely NOT a slapped together “rat rod”!!! It is a true “Hot Rod”. It’s been driven it to many cruises and on a few long hauls without a hint of a problem. This is a TURN KEY Hot Rod registered as a’ 30 Ford and I have a clean title in hand…and am listing this at a very low reserve….That’s right……a VERY

LOW RESERVE!!!
