For your consideration is my 1959 Ford Galaxie Fairlane. It’s the first year for the Galaxie and the top of the line models held the Galaxie and Fairlane names. This car has no engine ortransmission. Drive shaft and rear end are there and its ready for your engine combo.
Montana Car, never on a PA road. Sat since 1970 (plate still on the car)
Original miles.
The car has power front seat, power brakes and power steering. Those units are still with the car.
The body of this car is VERY solid. There are a few spots that need repair on the front floor board and in the rear of the trunk. The issue was the car sat for 45 years with the trunk open Even though it was in storage water still rotted that area. I included a piece of rear frame where the trunk mounts go. The frame looks good, just the rear cross bar in the very back is a little compromised. Some people wouldn’t change that, they would simply replace the trunk metal. I included this just in case you want to do a show room restoration.
An engine and trans was going to be put in the car and it was just going to be driven as is. The car ended up being too nice for that. She deserves a restoration. What you see is what you get. It’s a great starting point for a restoration.
Engine and trans are not with the car, it has no engine or trans, it wont drive home. You are responsible for shipping however I will deliver for $2.50 a mile. Payment for the car and the mileage must be made up front and cleared.
I hope I am not missing anything. There could be some bits here and there missing. But again, you see what it is. It needs restored. Its a great starting point. I just have too many projects to work on. Please save this cars life!
Thank you!
