This 1929 Ford Roadster is a cool and coordinated package that loves to update vintage details on this icon of the streets. And since there are barely any miles on this build, everything feels exceptionally fresh - right down to the rubber on those whitewalls.

This is a build that was a decade-long labor of love completed in 2019, and there's only 60 miles on it. The Hatteras Green has an almost golden undertone as the modern clearcoat paint highlights the classic '29 roadster lines. You can instantly tell by the way the shine rolls evenly across the iconic curves that the whole process was a solid investment in quality. It's a detail-oriented build where you'll love the little things, like the color-matched headlight and hidden door hinges. Plus, this loves to stick to the theme of a post-war style hot rod that was built with updated pieces. You see it in the '37 blue-dot taillights, '50 Ford trunk hinges, a chopped windshield, and a '32 Ford frame. Even the wheels do a great job of being both thoughtfully stylish and period-correct. After all, you may be too busy admiring the two-piece wheel trim and the cool whitewalls to also see that the black steelies match the frame.

A car like this was meant to be open to the world, and so you get a full custom interior that's ready to show off. The dash is color-matched to the distinct exterior green, and it's dominated by a crisp set of AutoMeter gauges, including a large speedo and tach.

The engine bay is just as crisp and clean as the rest of the build it has a terrific Buick 264ci Nailhead motor - a true classic hot rod icon. This V8 was rebuilt during the restoration, and all the polished pieces and a smooth firewall mean it's ready to show off from every angle. While it has the right vintage look, they also added the right modern pieces to keep it a strong-running powerhouse, including an Accel ignition coil and an aluminum radiator. It inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a terrific tune from the center-exit dual exhaust. And keeping that old-school power machine feeling on the road are features like the Saginaw three-speed manual transmission, a polished hairpin drop axle front end, and ladder bars in the rear.
