This 14,700 original mile, Medium Charcoal Metallic, 1983 Ford Mustang GT with T-Tops, 5.0 H.O., 8 cyl, 5 spd, Traction-Lok rear end with TRX wheel pkg, Recaro Race Seats, is in very good original condition. This car is a loaded version of the Mustang GT. It has dealer installed rear louvers, vacuum meter. There are the words Ford etched into the rear windows. Look at the Ford letter and Marti Report in the listing to help with the description of the car. There are still many of the original factory stickers on the parts. I am the third owner of this car. I was told, this car was originally sold to Marshall Ford in Cleveland, OH. The car was on display in the showroom for many years. Marshall Ford went bankrupt and at some point Ford Corporate received the car back. The second owner of the car had it fore a short period of time. I bought the car in April of 2010. I left the car in original condition. I had to replace the hood liner, muffler and had the Holley 4 BBL carburetor rebuilt. I have the original TRX wheels and original tires that came with the car. I have a set of 1985 wheels on the car for going to local shows. All the wheels go with the car. The headliner on the car needs to be re-glued or replaced. The spring in the rear deck security visor does not work properly. The car has a few door dings and some fading. The rubber stripping is showing its age. This is a very strong running car, no smoke, no clutch issues, the a/c will need to be charged. Otherwise, radio, cruise control, power windows and locks work. Lights all work. This car has been cared for over the years. It does not see rain. I will assist with buyer payed for shipping and local inspections, if the buyer requests. All expenses are to be paid for by the buyer. A 500.00 deposit is to be paid for through PayPal in 48 hours or this car will be relisted. The balance due either by, bank wire transfer or certified bank check within 7 business days. Cash on pick up will need to be counted through a bank. Please allow for proper business times to pay with cash. The title and keys will not be released to the buyer or the buyers agent until all funds clear through my bank. If a buyers agent is to pick up the car. I will require that the buyer supply a notarized letter or letter of authorization for a carrier to pick up the car. The buyer is responsible for all tax, title and other fees. When all funds clear my bank, I will send the title and keys to the buyer with the USPS Overnight Express Mail, signature required.
