1974 Ford F-350 XLT Description

Out of hundreds of thousands of trucks Ford built in 1974, only about 1310 of theses SUPER CAMPERSPECIALSwere built. Its really rare, and it drives so nice. This is a Ford F-350 SUPER camper special XLT. It’s also the only two wheel drive I’ve ever seen with a divorced transfer case, offering a “two-speed” rear end to the massive Dana 70 rear end. The SUPER’s had the rear axle so far back, the spare tire had to be mounted in a special compartment on the side of the bed. On the opposite side is a grey water holding tank for your vintage side-in camper.

This is the original color, and the XLT package offered all the nice trim. Its a 460 Big Block and runs really nice, it has strong oil pressure. and ismated to a C-6 automatic. The truck came with Air Conditioning. It kicks on but needs a charge.

The original am/fm radio works and sounds nice, seat was reupholstered and new door panels. No rust issues and the body is real straight. It also has disc brakes and power steering.
