Ford Econoline Conversion Van Super Clean
1985 Ford Econoline 150 Description
I'm relisting my Van because the previous buyer was from Japan, not sure why they bid, but maybe the shipping was too high..... : ) . Anyway, this is one of the nicest 1985 Ford Conversion Van's you will come across. It has been on a few long trips but for the most part it was used on weekends or tailgating. I get alot of compliments when I take it out. I'll try to describe to the best of my ability everything I know about the van. I bought it about 5 years ago. It had 21,000 miles on it. After listing it the first time, I noticed a discrepancy on the odometer reading. Basically the title search came back with a higher mileage on the van at one time. I dont know anything about that, the van looks, and drives like one that has 27,000 miles on it, but you be the judge. The van has recently been tuned up with new plugs, cap, rotor, and wires. I just put on new tires last fall and they dont have 500 miles on them. The rear wheel cylinders started leaking so they were replaced with new brakes aswell. The only issue is when it sits for a while it takes about 20 seconds to pump fuel up to the carb. There is some surface rust starting around the wheel wells. I have sanded and rust treated the area and painted with some paint that is close to original, I do this about once a year to keep it looking nice. A friend took it camping and built the frame in the back of the van so it would facilitate a larger mattress when the rear bench is folded down into a bed. I hate to part with this van but it needs to be used more than I do ask any questions and I will answer them.
