Here is my 1950 Ford Tudor sedan. It has a flathead v8 and a 3 speed manual transmission. It is a older restoration, but a very nice car. It would be a great driver.
At one time the paint was perfectly smooth, not a hint of orange peel, one of those very expensive paint jobs. Since then the car has been driven on trips. As you know rock chips happen, Door dings happen, so it has things like that. There are areas where a dent/scratch were fixed, the paint is the same color, but those areas were never wet sanded down to perfection after they were painted. Its nothing obnoxious, but they are there. There is a spot on the roof where somebody was moving something on a shelf in the garage and a box fell (so it has a ding that hasn't been fixed), there is also a ding under the passenger side taillight, basically garage mishaps that happen especially when you have younger kids. Basically as is the body is in great driver quality condition, you'll get looks at a car show, but its far from perfect. If your after perfection you will need to do bodywork and repainting.
The chrome, stainless, etc are all pretty nice. Those reflections in the bumpers are from a building that is about a block away. But again, this car was driven, so they are very good looking, but they are not perfect.
The stock interior (seats, door panels, headliner, carpet) were redone at the same time it was painted. Very nice condition. The seats are comfortable and perfect for cruising. The chrome parts inside the car, steering wheel, and the dash are in good used condition. If you shot a fresh coat of black paint on the steering wheel it would sparkle, on the chrome knobs, trim, etc some polish would do wonders, again its very presentable as is, just not perfect.
The trunk is nice and clean and looks just as nice as the interior.
The car has a flathead v8 and a 3 speed manual transmission. The car runs good, I didn't overhaul the motor, but it runs too good for it not to have been overhauled at least once in its life. Hit the button and its running right away. Purrs like a Singer sewing machine. The engine is stock. The car runs and drives nice. Brakes work good, steering has a little play but all old cars do. The car has some drips, nothing obnoxious, but overall its a very dependable car.
As far as transportation, I know alot of truckers. If you need help with transporation just ask me.
I will accept cash when you pick it up or a bank wire transfer. I expect to be paid in full within 48 hours after the auction ends. If that won't work for you just ask me, I'm sure we can figure something out.
I'm losing some storage and I really hate selling the car, but somethings gotta go. This is a bargain.
