1968 Ford Mustang Description

This is a 1968 Mustang Fastback. Factory green with black interior. Can we say bullet clone ? 289 V8 with C4 transmission told its numbers matching but never looked however a friend checked the date code and is correct for the car . Motor will run as is but ran it off a can for I'm sure the gas tank needs cleaned and or replaced. Trans wants to move but never got around to brakes because I never quite made up my mind what direction I was going with the car. It has been off the road for many years but was on a concrete slab under a lean-to when I got it. Vin and Fender tag and body numbers match to clear Virginia title. I would love to keep the car but I have a bunch of unfinished projects. The car is in super nice shape for what it is and pretty untouched which is what I like. Car will need quarters, not too rusty but does have some rust. Trunk is solid, fenders are good, doors are very usable, rear floors are good and the frame is incredibly solid. Firewall and inner fenders are solid as well. It does need total restoration but rear quarters and front floor pans are the biggest must as for metal needed. Windshield is cracked all other glass is good. Doors open and close nice and tight ...windows roll up and down. Car is 100% complete and comes with new front seat covers. The car seems to have multiple layers of paint. It's really nice for what it is. It has been the original Green blue white red and reddish brown. The last paint job was the reddish brown. So with the oxidation and fading it makes the car look the color of rust. Car would look a thousand times better primed but there is nothing to hide and I'd rather sell it like it's it's then seem to be covering anything up. Only thing I can see missing is the radio, spare tire, Jack and some emblems such as the trunk lid Mustang emblems. There are no missing trim or interior pieces the car is all there and a great restoration project this car is being listed by family member because I have little to no internet service were I live.
