This 1966 Ford Mustang is a triple-black coupe that is powered by a replacement 289ci K-code V8 mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. A refurbishment said to have been completed in 2008 included a color change as well as installation of a Pony interior, power-assisted front disc brakes, a 9″ limited-slip rear end with 3.50:1 gearing, front and rear sway bars, and more. The car also features GT-style trim as well as styled steel wheels and Rally-Pac gauges.Originally finished in Vintage Burgundy, the car was repainted in its current black circa 2008 according to the selling dealer. Features include a matching vinyl roofas well as GT-style fog lights, exhaust outlets,rocker panel striping, and emblems.Styled steel wheels are wrapped in 14″ redline tires. Power-assisted brakes are equipped up front. Additional modifications include gas shocks and a larger-diameter front sway bar as well asa rear sway bar. The interior features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with embossed Pony trim on their backrests, faux wood paneling on the full-length center console and dashboard, and a replacement Ford-branded pushbutton AM/FM radio. A wood-look steering wheel frames round gauges including a central 140-mph speedometer, while a Rally-Pac tachometer and clock are mounted on the steering column. The five-digit odometer shows just over 1,700 miles, with total chassis mileage unknown. The replacement 289ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt 12 years ago under previous ownership, and features a chrome air cleaner and Cobra-logo valve covers. A Tremec five-speed manual transmission has replaced the previous C4 three-speed automatic.Power is routed through a 9″ limited-slip rear end witha 3.50:1 gear ratio according to a spec sheet supplied by a previous owner.
