1931 Ford Model A Coupe Hot Rat Rod old school build Awesome look No Rot
1931 Ford Model A Description
Very cool old school build on this 31 Coupe. It gets a ton of attention and has a great stance. The car has been built since 2015 and has been driven around 10k miles by the builder. All rotten metal has been replaced and aged to look original so there is no rot on the car. The doors, cowl and decklid are rust free. Custom built tube chassis. It has a 350 with a Crane Fireball cam but nothing wild. The 350 is topped off with a killer looking intake with 4 Weber carbs! Top loader 4 speed transmission with new hydraulic clutch. Drop front axle. GM 10 bolt rear with 3:10 gears. 40 Ford wire wheels with the rears being widened to hold the cool cheater slicks. Drum 40 Ford stock brakes do the job fine. The interior is built bare bones as it would have been in the day. The seat is custom and brand new as is the flooring. It has two batteries because the car does not run an alternator to keep with the old school, hot rod look. There are three gauges, oil, temp and amps. Who needs anything else anyway. The front windshield still flips out and the quarter and back window are yellow plexiglass. Open top and door windows. The history of the car was it was an old hot rod build sitting in a garage that was resurrected and put back together to what it is today. It is designed to be a crude, back in the day type build. It drives rough and looks cool! The prior owner and builder drove the car on a 300+ trip. I am only selling because I have bought another car and this one must go. It was a hard decision so hurry before I change my mind. It is a Buy It Now or best offer so no need to wait. You are welcome to come see the car prior to bidding, or have someone look for you, as your opinion could vary.
