I have for auction a 1977 Ford Ranger xlt F250 crew cab 460 engine 2 wheel drive with automatic transmission. This a rust free truck from Texas, I'm the third owner. Recently the truck went to a full restoration from the motor to a full paint job and a complete interior. The motor was sent to a machine shop in Dallas where they put all new sleeves on each cylinders to be rebuilt to standards specs, then it was assembled and installed by a mechanic shop in Dallas. The body was completely dissembled all body parts where painted one by one and then the truck was put together, the original color was Tangerine and Tan. I used the competition orange color from a 2016 Mustang and 2016 Pepper white from a mini cooper, I chose these combinations so the two colors won't compete with each other, the interior of the cab also received a full paint job with all the glass, weather-strip, and exterior trim removed before the paint job.
Interior: new carpet saddle finish, new seat covers, new custom made headliner, recover with a tan vinyl to match the interior. Complete brake system redone, new brake booster with master cylinder, new front rotors with pads and rear drum cylinders. Complete fuel system tanks where treated with Red-Cote fuel tank liner, two new sending units, new fuel pump, new rubber lines and selector valves, and a new Edelbrock carburetor. The wired harness has been repaired as needed, and some of the light sockets where replaced with new ones with the lights and accessories working as they should be. The transmission has been drained and refilled with new fluid and it shifts with no problems at all.
These are some of the new parts on the truck that I remember:
Rebuilt ford 460 motor, new Edelbrock carburetor, rebuilt steering pump, new battery, water pump, alternator, starter solenoid, new starter, pickup coil ignition module, fuel pump and selector valve, two new sending units radiator houses, brake booster with master cylinder, disc from rotors with new pads, rear drum cylinders, new heater core, new lock/set door ignition cylinder's with new keys and some other things that I forgot at this time.
The truck runs and drives good as it has been inspected and have tags, it has less than 300 miles since it has been overhauled.
Things that need to still be done on the truck: The front windshield is cracked, the tires are worn out and need to be replaced, and the a/c has to be charged.
This is a beautiful Crew Cab XLT Ranger truck with a complete race track which are hard to find especially in this condition.
