In 1991, Ned's long time friend and attorney, Alan Wertheimer assumed ownership and caretaker duties until 1997. From there it sold to Oren Koules and a series of other flippers, eventually landing in the hands of David King of Oakland, CA. David then sold it to the current owner in 2003 who has kept it under cover in climate controlled storage, recommissioningthe car for road use within the past year. The car is well optioned with the rear seat, 10 spoke wheels, woodgrain steering wheel, LeMans stripe, and of course the Cast Iron Borg Warner T-10 4-speed manual transmission.
