Up for sale: 1990 Ford Super Duty F Custom Sleeper Hauler 1 ton dually tow vehicle with a 7.3 diesel and less than 94,500 original miles. The truck has air ride suspension, fifth wheel, goose neck and regular towing capacity, a custom sleeper with electric fold down rear bench / bed, Gear Vendors overdrive transmission ( 70 MPH at 2100 rpm) both stock and auxiliary fuel tanks (100 + gallons) and a TV with built in DVD and digital convertor. The truck has power steering, brakes, AC, electric door locks, power windows, cruise control, separate batteries for the engine and sleeper compartments (two engine batteries and three sleeper cab batteries), regular and air horns, power invertor with electrical outlets and many other custom options.
The truck was always summer used as a toy hauler and never saw any winter driving. I purchased the truck from the original owner’s estate where it had been in storage for many years and decided to completely restore it. I have all the receipts for the following work performed.
The truck has a completely rebuilt engine with less than 3000 miles on it, new paint, new front interior, new brakes, alternator, water pump, starter, master cylinder, hoses, belts, filters and it has had compete standard maintenance. The top of the fiberglass cab didn’t require new paint and was recently rubbed out and waxed.
The tires are older but it great condition and the batteries are a few years old but working fine. The truck has always been stored inside and since I’ve owned it has never even been rained on.
The original conversion package was over $70,000.00 in the early 90’S and I have invested a “lot” of money to bring it back to its current condition.
The only quirk in the truck right now is the AC which blows cold, starts out blowing through the defroster vents and not the regular vents. It works fine so I left it alone.
The overdrive is activated by a foot switch and when I tested it in overdrive for mileage, it got 17 MPG on the highway not pulling anything.
The truck is ready to go anywhere and pull virtually anything. Oh, there is a small hole in the dash that must have been for some type of gage. I didn’t have it filled as it has a dash mat over it.
Our travel plans have changed so we no longer need the truck. Please email with any questions and the truck is available for test drives in Hart, MI. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the sale at any time.
