1990 Ford Mustang LX Description

Listed here is a '90 Mustang Convertible LX which was originally designed to be used as a promotional car for the Seven Up Soda Company. Only available in Deep Emerald Green Metallic with White Leather interior, 50 were to be used as prizes for a half court free throw contest. Google "7up Mustang" and read the story, it is quite interesting as the car turned out to be Ford's Celebration of 25 years of the Mustang. I am listing this car for a friend who has reached that point in life where it's time to let some treasures go. This is one of them and as you will see, could possibly be one of the finest known examples left. Very few 5 speed Convertibles were sold and very few remain. Bought new by a Collector and sold to a Collector. Very sparingly used (the 16,927 miles are accurate) but enough to keep all systems in good working order, with the exception of the A/C, which still has the old R-12 refrigerant and does not blow cold anymore. Always kept inside, never driven in bad weather and pampered like only a Collector would do. Never seen the inside of a body shop, never been smoked in, never had pets, no cracking in the leather and no signs of wear, ANYWHERE, just immaculate in every way! Performs absolutely flawlessly with NO EXCUSES TO BE MADE. There were no options offered on the car other than an automatic transmission and they all came through heavily equipped. A real blast to drive, or show, and you won't have to worry about making it home. The tires are almost new as the originals were showing some cracking. Included are wheel pictures so you can see the absence or any curb rash or marks. The owner even said he used to drive way behind traffic to avoid stone chips and windshield chips, and it certainly has worked. Please make it a point to inspect the car in person if you can. You will not be disappointed. Please only Continental US Bidders and if you have low feedback, excessive bid retractions or poor feedback, contact me first. Please make sure your funds are in order and remember this is a real Auction. I take it very seriously and expect you to do the same.
