For your consideration is this 1964 Ford Thunderbird. This is project that I am unable to continue due to health-related issues. This is a driver and not a show car. It has been garaged--or protected from the elements. Mechanically, the T-Bird has been extensively worked on to get it running safely and smoothly again. The seats have been fully re-upholstered with genuine leather. New insulation/noise reduction flooring and carpeting installed. Well preserved original ceiling with a few minor punctures on the rear left quad. Trunk and ventilation ducts fully restored. Dashboard has been shelled. Modern Thunderbird vintage-looking radio (AM/FM, auxiliaries, iPod/MP3 player outlet), plus new dashboard stereo single-cone speaker, installed. Interior door panels and door weather strips needs to be re-done. Door shells and carpet skirts, weather strip and trims are all included. Well preserved original paint with some patches of mild-moderate fading on trunk, roof and hood. Minimal, mild chipping and cracking. Overall, the paint is holding very well on this 52 years old car. Eventually, a new coat is in order. The chrome is very good (light-mild pitting, none-light rust). Few dings, dents and scratches noted and as expected on a car this age. Body rust is minimal (rear wheel wells). Rust free undercarriage. The working odometer is beyond its physical. All the lights (head and tail, brake and turn-signals, interior and exterior, fender bullet turn signals, hi-beams indicator, horn) do work. Speedometer; AMP, oil & temp gauges do also work. Gas gauge does not work (or, maybe, sender unit). Heater and ventilation, windshield wipers and clock, all work. New P215/R 75R15 tires. All original glass in very good condition--clear and no cracks, little fading along the edges. New interior rear view mirror and sun visors. Manually-cranked windows, and driver door rear view mirror with manual remote, work. Overall, a very good-looking and head-turning automobile. It drives smoothly and handles well. All reasonable offers considered.Thank you.
