This car was probably restored about 30 years ago. The previous owner had purchased it some time in the 90's. I purchased it October 2015. The previous owner replaced original engine with a 1925 engine to have a starter and generator. About 2 years ago the crankshaft broke and he spent about 4,000 on a complete rebuildthat included aScat crankshaft, new rods, camshaft, pistons, and a Z head. Radiator is like new with a modern core. All of the brass light are in excellent condition without any dents or cracks. Carbide generator is like new.
Running gear has correct components like 12 rivet rear end, two piece driveshaft, taper leaf springs, and correct spindles. The original engine also comes with the car and it has correct 7 rivet oil pan, heavy inspection cover, aluminum transmission cover, lettered pedals and "Ford" lettered cover.
I think original engine maybe a 1912 and not a 1911.
The car has a Michigan Title with engine number 54202.
