The baby bird has been treated to a repaint of it's original color about 15 years ago. It was stripped downto bare metal and done professionally by a local well know restorer at the time Richard Crump. This car has been meticulously maintained by it's current owner who is the 2nd owner. We have a very large Ford dealer here in Dallas who has an extensive car collection. His mechanic has personally worked on this Thunderbird. It runs extremely well and never over heats on the hottest days in our Texas summers. The only wear on the interior is this small area on the drivers arm rest. The car does have a replacement dash and seat covers. The car does not have 287 miles on it, that is the odometer reading and of course it is 100287.
