66-77 Ford Bronco Custom 4x4, lifted, new body, chassis complete, many new parts
1975 Ford Bronco Description
1975 Ford Bronco 302 4x4
This truck has a completed rolling chassis and a new fiberglass body tub that has been installed. The rest of the truck needs completion. Since I have owned it, the truck has been completely disassembled, the frame was sand blasted as well as the doors, tailgate, grill, dash, pedal assemblies and so on. Every piece, bolt, nut was cleaned, repainted or replaced as I have progressed.
The chassis was reassembled using new parts for all rubber, poly, 2.5 inch lift kit, warn lock outs, stainless steel brake lines throughout, brake drums, brake pads and cylinders, new emergency brake parts, new rear drive shaft, 33" tires. The dana 44 front end was rebuilt, the 9 inch rear end was rebuilt, the transfer case was not rebuilt.
The body tub is one piece from the fire wall to the tailgate. It is fiberglass and has the rear flares molded in. The tub is mounted to the frame with all new bushings and hardware. No other holes are drilled in the body tub however the locations are marked via a template from my old rusted metal body. The tailgate is mounted and it is a replacement steel tailgate with no rust and minimal imperfections, it is primered.
The truck comes with new fiberglass inner fenders, new outer fenders, new hood with molded scoop, new core support, new windshield frame and hinge, and new roadster door inserts. With it also comes the original metal grill which is blasted and primered, original steel core support which is blasted and bare metal, metal hood which is blasted and bare metal, both metal doors which are blasted and primered, both metal front fenders still in paint from before I started. none of these parts are installed and are shown in pictures simply mocked up to show whats included.
Additionally, The truck comes with a new 2 1/2 inch lift kit installed, new shock mounts and double shocks at each corner. It also comes with the previous lift kit which was a little taller and had orange coil springs. maybe 3k miles on 33" tires mounted on old school hurricane wheels. The truck has a roll cage, not mounted but shown in the pictures. I removed the padding recently and it does have some rust. I cleaned and roughly painted it, you can determine if it's acceptable to use.
Other new parts are shown in the pictures but include, new fire wall padding, new door interior trim panels, rear quarter interior trim pieces, new rubber, weather stripping and seals for windshield and tailgate and top. Many small seals, plugs, bump stops are new in package.
The exhaust system is new and complete with mufflers and hanging/mounting kit, it's not not installed
The fuel system includes a new 23 gallon steel rear fuel cell with all mounting and sending equipment. It is not installed. The truck comes with the mounting hardware, filler neck and skid plate for the aux. tank, but not the tank itself.
The truck comes with new fender flares and mounting hardware, which were purchased before the molded in flare fiberglass body. I'm sure you can resell them easily.
The motor is a 302 with an automatic transmission and has not had internal work done to it by me. It ran great before I began the project. It has been extensively cleaned, painted and dressed, including stainless steel headers, dress up chrome. New fuel pump, water pump also added. The truck does have factory power steering.
The truck does not come with a top nor does it come with front seats. It comes with factory front bumper but not a rear bumper. I have the top glass and door glass, vent glass but not the windshield.
Also included are the rare 1975 shop manuals which have very detailed schematics of the truck and assembly procedures.
Please feel free to email me with any questions at all. Buying a project on ebay is always a crap shoot but hopefully I have covered everything and given you plenty of pictures so you get what you expect. I have owned this truck since 1990 and it has been stored inside since. I am selling this truck because I have no time to finish it and need the cash.
Again to be clear, you will be picking up a rolling chassis with a body tub from the fire wall back installed and acceptable to trailer home, the body front end and roll cage will need to be removed for transport as they are not mounted. All other parts are in boxes listed with what's inside or loose. I am happy to discuss and help you pack it to protect it for the road. If you use a transport company then we can discuss the best way to ship it.
I will expect a paypal payment of $1000 within 24 hours of the auction end. The rest in a cashiers check via fed ex within 3 days. transportation costs for delivery and any additional packing costs will be your responsibility.
This is an opportunity to finish one of these trucks the way you want and be assured that you know what you have in the end. Thanks
I have around 75 additional photos showing the individual pieces and the labeled parts bags. I only get 24 pictures here but I'm happy to email you more, thanks
