1965 Ford Mustang Description

This is a nice fastback that has been restored 15 years ago but is instill in great shape, paint is not perfect but is great for a daily driver or it can be shown in local car shows. The engine is a 1966 289 that has been rebuilt and has not many miles on it, Look at picture of valve train looks NEW. I installed new 289 chromevalve covers and chrome air cleaner and factory oil cap, I also installed the factory plug wires and new disturber cap along with the Pertronix igniter that replaces the points and condenser. I rebuilt the Holley 4 barrel and put new base gaskets. I also installed new tri-y headers and it already had the GT exhaust on it. I replaced upper radiator hose and all fuel lines. Engine runs great and has new starter, oil has been changed with new oil filter and the ZDDP additive for flat tappet cam. I have found no leaks on transmission or engine or power steering and the same for the rear end. Lubed all fittings upper and lower control arms and tie rods which all were replaced when the restoration was done. The A/C works great temp went down to 32 degrees. The brakes are power with the original disc-brakes that were installed during the restoration and I checked the rear brakes and they are like new with all new hardware. The tires have less than 400 miles on them and It has the factory style steel wheels with center caps. Drives out great! The interior has been changed over to have the pony seats along with the GT Woodgain instrument Custer and glove box and console. It has a 65 Rally Pac that works including the clock. The radio is a replacement with AM/FM cassette with kick panel speakers and a very nice set that is in the fold down seatpackage door that attaches to door with damaging it.The GT fog lights where installed also and they work. It has new leaf springs on rear with lowering blocks to get the correct ride height.New shocks were installed at the time of restoration. The body is great, it has had part of the left front replaced and best I can tell it has all of the rest of floor pans. This will make a great Mustang to drive and have a lot of fun in it. With A/C, P/Disc-Brakes, Automatic transmission, Rally Pac, console, Style steel wheels, dual GT exhaust what can you ask for more.
