1926 Ford Model T Description

Up for auction is my 1926 Ford Model T Touring car. This car starts right up, runs well and stops well- has a nice old Ford percolating sound, typical of Model T's. The car has been looked after and has newer parts all over while maintaining that old warm antique patina. All original sheet metal and engine, good transmission bands and car doesn't smoke or even drip much oil. The reproduction vinyl top was recreated by the previous owner using newer irons that he fabricated- but it looks good and is solid. The car comes WITH A TOP BOOT to lock down the roof when driving with the top down. The car has newer wiring, good tires and tubes, newer plugs and wires, rebuilt Ron Patterson coils, good hoses, new motometer and more. The starter and generator have been rebuilt and the car shows positive voltage when running which means the generator works well. All lights work and the steering wheel has been refinished. The interior has been rewooded and new black vinyl has been added, the back cushions don't use a spring so for us taller fellows- this car is very comfortable! I am 6' 1" and I fitcomfortably in this car. The rear spring does have a stiffner to help make the ride more comfy and it has a nice safe set of period painted aftermarket front and rear bumpers.
Overall this is a solid Model T ready for parades, zipping around town or just enjoying as you please. Clear Illinois title and I accept cash or bank-to-bank wire transfer before the car gets taken away. Thanks for looking and feel free to text me questions or call at 630-935-8561, Thanks! YouTube videos of the car running are found if you type "1926 Model T Ford JC" and "1926 Model T Ford JC Part 2" Thanks for looking! (the puddle in the vids was caused by a loose screw in the Bendix cover, so not a biggie)

I do have a contact of a friend who can deliver an oldcar like this to your door- email me and I can get you his number for a quote; he has delivered many Model T's before.

Quick question answered: the small holes in both front doors are from a parade, someone added snaps for a sign. They are tiny and can be filled in if you wish, I don't notice them and haven't bothered with them. Secondly, is there active rust? One in one place, on the passenger front fender there is a rusted outsquare where it meets the running board, but it is flat and a square hole. Besides that there are a few small holes near the rear top where the roof iron is located. Those are smaller and can easily be fiber-glassed closed. Not bad for a 90 year old car!

IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES, YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING. I HAVE HAD WAY TOO MANY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES WITH FOREIGN BIDDERS BACKING OUT & COMPLICATIONS.

I am sorry but I went ahead and cancelled foreign bids placed on this Model T. I requested that this car sell within the US only, please honor and follow the parameters of the auction. Thanks and sorry for the confusion to my normal US bidders. Carry on and happy bidding!
