1966 Ford Mustang RESTORED 289 V8 CONVERTIBLE WITH GT UPGRADES! Description

Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.
West Coast Classics are proud to present a stunning example of this 1966 Ford Mustang 289 V8 Convertible which was recently restored with absolutely no expense spared in its original and very striking 'Candy Apple Red' color paint with a beautiful option package of Red and White two-tone Pony interior with Pistol Grip door pull handles, simulated walnut trim on the instrument panel and glove box and center console with floor shifter, deluxe wooden steering wheel, luxury padded door panels with integrated arm rest, courtesy warning lights in doors, unique foam bolstered seats with embossed running Pony inserts front and rear and with GT upgrades including front fog lamps, dual exhausts, power front disc brakes and a power top with a glass rear window!

The car has been beautifully restored with factory correct GT markings including a disc brakes pedal, trumpet dual exhaust system with bright chrome extensions through the rear valance panel, 4"fog lamps mounted in the grille with fog lamp toggle switch under the dashboard, GT badges on front fenders, GT stripe running front to rear along the lower body with MUSTANG spelled out on fender behind front tire, 5 dial black and chrome instrument cluster with round 140mph speedometer and walnut wood applique, C4 automatic transmission with wood applique center console, GT gas cap, interior decor group with deluxe wood steering wheel with eighteen bright recessed studs, an after market resto-mod 'Mustang' AM radio with CD changer in the trunk, power front disc brakes, power white convertible soft top and with optional all chrome 14" styled steel wheels with 5-lug pattern!

This is a southern California car which has obviously been lovingly restored with no expense spared and the car drives beautifully with no mechanical issues whatsoever. There is no evidence of any previous rust and the car has a spare wheel in the trunk as seen in the photos below.

This particular car must be seen and driven to be fully appreciated - a seriously striking example which turns heads wherever she goes! The engine is extremely strong and responsive with excellent oil pressure and no oil leaks and which sounds absolutely magnificent with the correct GT two throaty resonators roar from the dual mufflers, the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool.
This is one very fine and striking southern California 1966 Ford Mustang 289 V8 Convertible and a great daily driver for any American classic car lover. A beautiful example of this increasingly collectible and one of the most desirable classic Mustangs ever in turn-key ready daily driving, daily head-turning, and daily appreciating condition!
