1966 Ford Mustang Description

I am relisting this car and have added photos of the floor. It has also just been serviced and is ready to go.
This is a very nice driver. I bought this car off a gentleman who intended to restore it. He owned it only a few months when he found another car he wanted to restore instead. Prior to that, the car had only two owners. When I purchased it it still had the original top, original interior and only 104,000 miles. I contacted both owners and was told that the engine or transmission had not been replaced.
In 1966 there were 607,548 mustangs built. Only 12,520 were optioned like this "C" Code car.
Vehicle highlights:
  • Third owner car
  • Original engine and transmission
  • 4 -speed with console
  • 289 V8 /4 barrel carburetor
  • Pony interior
  • Rallye Pak
  • Power steering
During the 9 or so years I have owned it, I have:
  • Rebuilt the transmission
  • Rewired the electrical
  • Body work with metal patches
  • Rebuilt Holley carburetor
  • New carpet
  • Replaced the drivers seat bottom.
  • New top
  • New alternator
  • New radiator
  • New water pump
  • Power steering serviced
  • New stainless steel gas tank and fuel sender
  • New front shocks
  • New clutch and flywheel
  • Addedrear leaf springs
  • Replaced rear end bearing and seals
  • Re-chromed bumpers
The car is a driver. There are a few chips. Though the original AM radio works and there are cutouts for the speakers, I never got around to replacing the radio or the speakers. The floor is is good shape and the front end is what you'd expect on a 50 year old car. The Rallye Pak has power but does not function. When available, I used NOS parts. I also have all the receipts for the big repairs.
I am not new to Ebay. Bid with confidence. I have bought or sold over 100 items on Ebay with a 100% satisfaction. I have not bought or sold anything in a number of years and was not able to retrieve my password. Therefore I had to open a new account. My old username was Spooner17.
The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel auction should I sell the car before the auction ends.
Winning bidder receives a any extra parts that I have and a car cover.
Payment due within 7 days or the car will be relisted.
