For sale is my very nice 1990 Ford F-250 4x4 with a 7.3L/445 cubic inch V8 IDI diesel engine with Gale Banks Sidewinder turbocharger system.Regular cab, Long bed, manual 5-speed transmission, aftermarket MBRP 4 inch exhaust. Rust-free, the truck had spent all it's life in South Carolina before i bought it.
20”x10” BMF Wheels with brand new 275/60 r20s Firestone Destination all terrain tires. Cost about a $1000.
New clutch, new starter, and new solid flywheel with less than 5000 miles on them, new aluminum radiator and brake master cylinder last year. Rebuilt glow plug circuits, new clutch master and slave cylinders.Rear main seal replaced 1 year ago. Transmission and 4WD transfer case shifts and runs smoothly, engine runs like a dream.
All ball joints replaced last November with greasable ones, tie rod ends replaced. Two newbattery's and the belts replaced.
Irecentlyreplaced the front shocks and brake pads, the rear brake shoes were still good. New fuel filter the same day.
Re sprayed a few years ago, an excellent job was made, it's certainly not obvious that it has been re-sprayed.
Hiddengoose-neckhitch in bed.Diamond plate aluminum truck bed toolbox, bed liner and tonneau cover included as well. I took them out to make it easier to see when backing the trailer.
Cd/DVDplayer.
Air conditioning works well.
Does not use fluids, does not smoke.
One thing is the indicator switch does not lock on when turning right, i have not bothered fixing it as i did not really want to take the steering column to bits. Very easy just to hold it with your finger.
Small oil drip at the starter motor, hardly any really though and a common area for a leak in these trucks.
The inside of the cab is also in nice condition, no smells, non smoker.
The engine really runs well, i have changed the oil and filter a couple of times using shell rotella 15w-40. The glow plugs all tested good recently, the heat works well when heating it to start in the morning. It then starts the rest of the day without heat.
It starts well in the cold and if you have the block heater plugged in it starts instantly all winter.
I bought this truck mainly to pull around my two little vintage tractors around, due to weekend work i don't have time now. The truck is still good for work and commute so i have decided to sell it as i do not use it enough to justify having it anymore.
It's a great looking truck, runs and drives very well, is enjoyable to drive and still pulls like a train.
See pics, email me and i'll send you video links of it running and driving and answer any questions.
