Rencent build on Henry Ford steel un-cut body/fenders with 350/350
1932 Ford Ford Model A Description
Here’s a great opportunity to own an original, Henry Ford all steel 1932 five window coupe at a very fair price. It’s not every day that a clean and tastefully built ‘32 becomes available. So if you’re in the market for one, here’s your chance.
This little gem is a recent build with a very simple and reliable approach. It’s powered by a small block Chevy 350 motor, back by a turbo 350 transmission. It rides on a mono spring front axle and 8 inch rear differential. Stopping power includes disc up front and drum brakes out back. It has approximately 10k miles on it and has proven to be reliable with a handful of long distance road trips. That translates into any and all kinks being ironed out by now.
The best part is the car was built for driving! It has A/C, heat and power windows. It tracks straight going down the road and feels tight with one hand on the wheel.
The project began with a very straight and rust-free body that sits on a boxed ‘32 frame. Yes, the fenders are steel too. The black two stage paint was applied by South County Autobody in Lake Forest, CA. This shop is well known for producing award winning automobiles and this paint finish is a testament to that.
The upholstery speaks for itself with black pleated faux leather. All the stiching and installation was done by Ernie’s in Ontario, CA. Ernie’s work is an extension of the Gabe Lopez Street Rod Upholstery family and it’s top notch craftsmanship definitely shows in this little ‘32 Hot Rod.
The pictures really tell the story, but feel free to come see this ‘32 if you’re local. The car is being stored in Laguna Hills, CA.
