1991 Ford Mustang Original 5.0 LX Notchback Foxbody RARE! NO RESERVE! 302/351
1991 Ford Mustang STEEDA Description
I have had the Notchback for about a year now and haven't had time to work on it. A recent newborn has taken precedence over my projects.
A little about the '91 Mustang Notchback:
I purchased it in this condition and literately have not touched it. It has a shortened GT40 Upper and Lower Steeda Intake with the Pro-M ram air intake connected to a K&N filter. Looks to have Ford Motorsport heads attached to factory headers which push out the exhaust to two, three chambered 2 1/4" Borla mufflers. Cooling supplied by a Steeda/Champion Radiator and a Spawl fan. Electric is supplied by MSD Ignition and wires. I was also informed the vehicle has a mild cam installed, most likely a E303 with upgraded crank and forged pistons. The transmission is a AOD 4 followed by a one piece drive shaft connected to 3:73 gearing. There are also upgraded Steeda/Kenny Brown suspension components; torsion/traction bars (the ones running length wise on the vehicle are rusted and need to be replaced) and anti-sway bars under the vehicle. As you can see the vehicle needs body work. The front clip needs to be pulled and gone through. There was a previous front clip change that wasn't done correctly (the previous owner told me he ran into his garage). The door handles don't work well, window motors need to be replaced and there is a oil leak in the front of the engine (possible front crank seal, drain plug, oil pan gasket or combination).
The vehicle starts every time and it sounds amazing. No smoke, check engine light or erratic idle, it runs and drives but would not suggest it due to the oil leak.
See the detailed pictures and make sure you ask all questions BEFORE you bid...or even better, just schedule a time to see the Steeda. If you have less then 20 feedback and are less then 20 years old contact me before you bid. Please follow the guidelines set forth in the auction. I really don't have time for people with too little cash and too many dreams. Vehicle is to be paid for with cash, in person and picked up with in three business days.
UPDATE 7/14: The original owner contacted me during the previous listing and supplied me with more information about the vehicle. This is a original 5.0 LX that was upgraded by the original owner and the second owner, this is not a Steeda. I have included the magazine the Mustang was featured in (Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords in April of 1993), please see the new photos and read the article. Due to the second listing and the new information, I am now offering it as-is with no reserve.
UPDATE 8/1: High bidder never contacted me. AGAIN: Please be advised if you have less than 20 feedback, contact me BEFORE you bid or I will remove your bid.
