1929 Ford Model A Description

Engine: Built flathead 1950 ford truck block, bored and stroked,balanced rotating assembly, vintage Alexander dual slingshot intake (full polish) with 2 Bendex Zenith carbs,vintage Baron Super Race heads (full polish), vintage Johnson adjustable lifters, stainless valves with hardened valve seats, Isky 400 jr. cam, modified small block chevy mechanical tack drive distributor with Crane magnetic trigger and MSD spark box.

Drivetrain: T5 5 speed manual transmission, hyd. throw out bearing with 10.5 in. pressure plate, open drive line to a Winters V8 center section with 1950 Mercury 28 spline axles and 1950 Mercury 11inch Bendix self energizing rear brakes.

Front suspension: Stock 1932 Ford axle (drilled and plated) hung suicide style with chrome hair pins and 1959 Buick 12 inch front brakes with Wilson welding backing plates. Model A front cross member andmodelAfront spring. Armsrtrong lever shocks off full size Jag.

Rear suspension: Model A cross member and model A transverse leaf spring. Chrome Pete & Jakes tube shocks.

Tires and wheels: Front- 6.5 X 15 wheel with165/80-15 tire

Rear- 10.0 X 15wheel with 255/70-15 tire. BFG Radial T/A front and rear, hub caps are 1956 ford truck with 1940 Ford beauty rings.
