This car was built by myself 3 years ago. It has just a few thousand miles on the odometer so the motor is basically just broken in. It is a street legal, hot rod drag car built in the spirit of a ‘60’s altered drag coupe. Titled and registered as a true ‘32 for the street and it runs 9.8 second quarter miles (6.20’s @ 108mph eigth) WITHOUT the nitrous kit on. It does this in the exact configuration it rolls on the street. Consistently pulls and carries 2’ wheelies on the leave with sixty foots in the high 1.3’s. The car feels extremely tight and solid going down the street and cruises on the highway with no issues. Runs straight down the drag strip as well and is quite stable even going through the traps at 135mph with no wandering or white-knuckled scariness. The power hits immediately and it is a handful. It will light off the rear tires at highway speeds with ease. Not for the inexperienced! Never meant to be a show car -more of a clean, mean, “all business” drag strip bruiser- this coupe draws a crowd everywhere it goes. The idle is gearhead music and it has a great stance. A legit nostalgia hot rod that moves out even better than it looks.
