1986 Ford Mustang LX Hatch Description

This is a beautiful 1986 Mustang 3dr LX 5.0 with a T-Top. The paint is 95% original...and in good shape for the year and miles. It was originally in the Pacific Northwest and as no, zero, zilch rust anywhere. Under doors, under hatch, strut towers etc..are all rust free. The interior is all original tan cloth. No rips or tears in seats. In fact, very little wear of any kind. Dash is excellent. Dash pad was recently re-dyed and matches well. Original Premium Sound radio works fine...dash never cut up. All gauges work fine. Power windows work fine. Cruise control works fine. Keys for T-Top locks included.
The engine runs great. No leaks. Newer 3 row radiator and HD flex fan keep the Mustang running cool on the hottest 90+ degree day. Recent Synthetic oil change and Motorcraft filter. New plugs, cap and rotor. Original wires. New battery. Brakes are excellent. Drives and runs excellent. Has sat in same spot a month and floor has no spots indicating leaks of any kind. Automatic transmission shifts excellent. Newer alternator. New battery. New shocks and struts. Ice cold A/C running R12. Mechanically it needs nothing! Drive it home any distance without worry.
Paint is rare Brown color. It has minor chips and nicks as one would expect for 105K miles. Front bumper and lower right rear quarter below body side molding were painted at some point....only paint work on car...rest is all original and no rust!! Still has original factory pin stripe painted on. Spoiler top is faded. Have storage bags for T-tops, original owners manual and T-Top lock key. New T-Top seals are included in box..no time to install. Two sets of keys.
