1965 65 Ford Mustang fastback project K code Hipo Hi po 289 4 speed
1965 Ford Mustang Description
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING OR ASKING QUESTIONS. 65 Fastback K code, 4 speed, vintage burgandy with black standard interior, non-GT, 3.50 open axle. All the original drivetrain is long gone and don't know where it is. Body is true K code and has both VIN stamps visable with dual exhaust brackets and snubber for hipo only cars in place. Was hit on the passenger door post/rocker and not well repaired. Car was moved around with a forklift so the framerails are dented up. Car came from California so not much rust, but a lot of other damage. Interior is what is pictured. Have the following drive train/mechanical parts.
LH Exhaust manifold (not a reproduction) -- C3OE-9431-D (I only have the one. The other was cracked.) Rods -- C3AE-D Heads -- Correct 289 Hipo -- dated 4M17 (one has had a crack repaired in the combustion chamber and needs porting to remove the excess material)
Water pump (used original, aluminum, but hipo only with 6 blade impeller) -- C5AE-8505-C Balancer -- C5OE-A (with hatchet and narrow crank sprocket and chain)
Trans -- Toploader 4 speed with correct HEH-T code on tag but I think has incorrect long tailshaftHipo engine mounts and choke cable
Has a later 8 inch rear axle in it. Car rolls. Manual steering with correct steering box. Car did not come with disc brakes or power brakes, power steering, AC or GT package or pony interior. Equipped similiar to a Shelby Mustang. Auction includes a 65 coupe parts car the buyer can have or buyer can cut off any section of coupe parts car you want or take none of it. Buyer's choice. Should have a title for the parts car.
All of the large/main parts should be in the pictures. No guaranty or warranty on the car or parts. Some of the parts are missing. If you don't see a part then it is probably not there, but feel free to confirm. Just about everything is pictured. You can inspect the car. Car is for sale locally and seller reserves to end the auction at any time. Car is located in Kennewick, Washington 99336. If you have any questions or need additional pictures contact the seller. David 31O-435-9O47. I am listing the car for the seller so if you email me I may not respond. Seller can assist with loading the car and packing the parts. Car can stay in a locked shop for several weeks while buyer arranges shipping at buyers risk. Buyer pays all shipping costs. Buyer will need to make a $1000 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction or the car will be relisted. No exceptions. Clear non-salvage, non-branded title. Payment is cash or wire (or a cashiers check from a major US bank that will be verified prior to releasing the car or title). This is a serious project but will be a rare and valuable car if properly restored.
