The restoration consisted of taking the body of the chassis and completely rebuilding this car from the frame up. The frame was powder coated and all new brake and fuel lines were installed, The suspension was rebuilt with new shocks, springs and front end components. The correct 312 CI engine was rebuilt. The transmission was upgraded to updated 4 Speed Automatic with overdrive. The car has new wire wheels mounted on radial white walls. while the body was off the chassis all body work was performed and a show quality paint was applied to the entire body including the underside, the floorboards,and trunk panels. All new chrome was assembled on the car. The body was applied back on the chassis. The result of this restoration is one of the finest driving 1957 Thunderbird available.
