1963 Ford F-100 Custom cab Description

We have here a 1963 ford f100 custom cab. It's an old farm truck since the day it was bought. It has the original motor, which runs well. The transmission is factory as far as I know, with the shifter being changed at one point in time. Manual trans with shifter on floor. All is good with transmission too. The truck is fairly solid! The fenders, hood, doors, rockers, bed sides, and tailgate are good, with no rot. The floors are OK, there appears to be a couple patches, one with fiberglass. The bed floor will need some attention, all there, wood over top of the metal. It appears someone started to cut it out, but the just cut a couple lines, then stopped. Frame is in good shape, bumpers are good. Someone just threw some white paint on it at one point in time, paint is not good, good for shop truck or driver, but not fancy, and not done well. The truck did run and drive fine. The brakes just went out of it and I have not determined the cause. Will more than likely have it fixed by the time it sells. I am also going to replace, or provide a new fuel pump. This one is hit or miss due to age, and should be done. The exhaust in the truck is in need of repair, wasn't on the road much so never bothered with it. This is a project if you want a perfect truck. It's a truck if you want a truck to drive or use as a shop truck, or rat rod. All the bones are good. Do have a new set of tailgate bottom hinges, it run most of its life without the tailgate on, so they were missing.
