1960 Ford F600 Truck Original Paint 83560 Original Miles Barn Kept.
1960 Ford Other Pickups F600 Description
1960 ford f-600 truck. Original paint, great patina. Barn kept farm truck. 83,560 original miles. This truck will make someone a great project. It has a lot of history behind it. It started out life as a fuel oil delivery truck in Charlotte Michigan from 1960 to 1964. The truck was painted the red, white, and blue color scheme when the heating oil tank was mounted at tank truck service in Detroit Michigan (still in business) when new. This color code was for Leonard refining from Alma Michigan. Later after about 1967 Leonard became Total, and in 2000 or so, Marathon. You can still read the owners name in the door, Bud Laux. It got about 10,000 miles a year for those first four years. After 1964 it was a farm truck with a box mounted on the back and had a hitch on the back to pull a wagon. It took the next 52 years to get the other 44,000 miles. It has the original 223 straight 6 motor with a 4 speed manual. It drives good and straight. All the glass is good. It has not been chopped up in any way. The tires and brakes are good, it runs smooth and quite. I have a clear title and the owners manual. It's a very simple old truck that's fun to drive.
