This Ranchero has spent all of its life in Southern California until one year ago when I moved to Washington State. As long as I have owned it (15 years) it has been garaged. It is a running drive ready vehicle that provides great bones for a restoration.

Parts included:

Hood (Super straight)

Driver front fender

Stone guard, bumper filler

Grille (NOS like shine)

Complete set of dash plastic ready for restoration

1965 Ford AM radio

Spare tire bracket and bolt for behind driver’s seat.

New spare tire mounted on freshly painted 14” wheel

Door hinge repair kit for driver’s door

Engine :

Weiand intake manifold

Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with manual choke

Mallory electronic ignition

New starter motor

New water pump

New radiator with gano filter and fan blade

Rear End:

Ford 9” axle with custom heavy duty leaf springs.

3.55 gears

Detroit Locker posi-traction.

Work performed ( since I have owned it):

Master cylinder has been replaced with a new unit.

Replaced radiator and fan blade.

Fuel tank has been cleaned (no holes or rust found) then coated with POR 15 gas tank coating. A new sending unit and seal have been installed. A new Carter electric fuel pump was also installed.

The underside of the bed has been stripped of all undercoating ( no rust found ) and painted with POR 15 rust preventative paint.

New rear air shocks have been installed.

Bench seat has been totally rebuilt replacing broken springs and rotten cotton with new auto grade foam rubber. Has an older but clean cover installed, ready for correct vinyl cover. A pair of new chrome buckle lap belts with spring returns have also been fitted.

The original Ford 4 speed shifter known for its mis-shifting has been replaced with a new Hurst Shifter and linkage. The white knob with shift pattern looks awesome and shifting is a breeze.

Replaced brake and clutch rubber foot pads.

New tires have been fitted.

Condition:

Starts, runs, shifts, drives and stops well.

The car was involved in a minor accident before I purchased it, the driver’s front was struck which damaged the hood, fender, stone guard and grille (see pictures). Replacement parts are included for all of these. These parts are very straight and are in excellent condition. A special note should be given to the replacement grille, as it shines like new and is straight as an arrow.

Driver’s side floor pan has a rust hole.

There is a small amount of rust in front of the rear wheels on each side.

There is a small dent in top of cab on the passenger’s side.

The rest of the body is very straight with no signs of body work.

The bed and inner tailgate are in very good shape.

All glass with exception of the windshield is the original Carlite and in good shape.

Stainless steel trim is all present and in excellent condition. The bed stainless has been fitted with snaps for a tonneau cover.

The front suspension seems tight.

The plastic dash pieces are broken and missing. A complete set of dash plastic ready for restoration is included. I will also include a correct 1965 Ford AM radio. Dash stainless strip is present and in fine shape.

Door panels have been removed, no rust or problems present inside of doors.

Windows roll up and down as they should.

Gaps on doors/body are fine, no sagging.

Rear bumper has a small ding which can be fixed when chromed.

A trailer hitch with ball is installed but may be removed by unbolting.
