1941 GMC Cabover COE Truck / Hauler
1941 GMC Other Description
1941 GMC COE Project Truck/Hauler - Cabover is in decent shape and is solid. I have fixed all the rust through spots in the rear corners and bottoms of doors, etc. The doors open and shut nicely. The door window regulators are complete, including the windshield regulator. I have the door glass and rear glass, all included. I also have the windshield frame and interior cab trim pieces. I welded the steps to the fenders to add strength. The cab is bolted to the chasis. The driver seat is only mocked up on 2x4's. I have a passenger seat also that is included, which is the same as the driver seat.
The chasis is a 1981 GMC motorhome class C chasis with dual rear wheels. Tires are fresh, just been sitting. I drove the motorhome prior to tearing it down for this project and it ran and drove nicely. The odometer on the motorhome read 82325, and is a small block 350 with a turbo 350 transmission. There was power steering and power brakes. I saved all the steering and brake components to be adapted to the cab. The steering and brakes are NOT hooked up. I also have the motorhome radiator, fan, and shroud that will be included.
Divorce forces sale, my loss is your gain... My plan was to build this truck into a hauler.
