1990 GMC Sierra 1500 Step-side that is in great condition with 119K original miles!. These trucks are becoming rare and hard to come by, especially with low mileage ones and in good condition. This truck runs and drives very well. Just passed State mechanical inspection last November in North Carolina.
The original burgundy cloth interior is probably 9 out of 10. It's in great, clean condition with no rips, tears or cracks. The dash is in good condition with no cracks or breaks, it also has a dash pad. There is some minor wear on drivers side door panel up by the window. The bucket seats have been re-stitched and there is virtually no wear on driver's seat cushion from entry and exit. It has the original console with sliding tray. This truck is loaded with a Tilt steering wheel and Cruise control. It also has power steering, power windows, and power door locks. Air conditioning converted to R134A and it blows cold. There is a Pioneer AM/FM/CD radio. It has the original jack and tool kit behind the passenger seat. There are original owners manual and purchase information. Floor mats are included.
Paint, while not perfect is very good. It appears that it was re-painted Black over the original Red at some time in the past. It has very minor scratching but the body has virtually no dings and is straight. It is probably a 9.5 out of 10. It has a custom hood. All of the side/front moldings have been replaced along with the headlight assemblies. Tinting on the side windows was recently replaced (35%) There is a bed mat. Tonneau cover has a tear on the drivers side but I'm having a new one made.
This was a Florida truck, so no rust and very clean underneath.
The drive train is a 350 small block (5.7) with 4 speed automatic (w/overdrive) transmission that runs strong. A year ago at 117K, a complete top end rebuild was done, new cylinder heads, valves, push-rods, gaskets etc. K&N reusable air filter. It has dual exhausts with a deep throaty sound and chrome exhaust tips. It has aftermarket catalyst converters installed even though NC does not require them on this truck due to it's age.The only issue is that the fuel gauge only registers 1/4 when full..The tank requires a new fuel sending unit.
The truck has been lowered 2” in the front and 4” in the rear with DJM 2” drop spindles up front and shackles in back. Included with the truck are a set of DJM 2”drop coils should the new owner want to slam it further. There are also new drop shocks all the way around.
The wheels are Wheel Vintiques Chrome Rally wheels 15x7 front and 15x8 rear with Yokohama Geolander H/T P235/75R15 9/32nd's on the front and Firestone Firehawk P255/70R15's with 5/32nd's on the rear. It has a new, unused spare.
