1955 GMC Pickup
1955 GMC 100 5 Window Description
I bought this truck out of Southern California a few years back. It ran and drove very well and had a nice repaint job on it, not exactly sure what the blue color is called. It had non original bumpers and ugly mags, needed interior work and new wood in the bed among many other things to make it better. Engine number matches VIN tag and I believe the drive train to be all original. 1955 GMC 100 First SeriesHere are some of the things done for improvement. New tires including spare, wheels replaced with later model 16" with original type caps and clips, complete new interior with firewall pad and floor mat, gauges all restored, new original type steering wheel, all new rubber gaskets doors and windows, new chrome original style bumpers, new park and tail light bezels, brakes rebuilt with new rear drums, new bed ( poly clear coat over red oak ) with stainless strips and hardware, grill assembly removed painted and clear coated, new battery, rebuilt water pump, complete tuneup and many other items I can't think of. All of the glass is nice and window regulators work smoothly. This truck has never had any rust. It is not perfect but hopefully the pictures show that it is quite nice and it is ready to drive. Questions will be answered to the best of my knowledge. Inspections welcome. Located in southeast Texas.
