1985 GMC Sierra 3500 SIERRA Description

Recently retired Fire Department Brush truck. 22,000 original miles. This truck has been kept in a heated fire hall its entire life. Well maintained and solid. This classic square body truck is ready to work or add to a collection. Everything is stock just as it came out of the factory, as the GMC version of the Chevy Custom Deluxe. The fire department lights and siren are included and operational. This is a basic truck. 350 four barrel. Power steering, Power brakes. Manual windows and locks, no radio, etc. Manual lock-out hubs for the 4 wheel drive. Good tires and brakes. One cross member of the bed is rusted. I think that is where the portable tank leaked. I also have available separately a FMC Bean pump with a 250 gallon tank if you desire to return it to firefighting service or bring it back to an authentic fire truck. I have been driving the truck around for the last few days. I felt like it had a slight pull to the right so I took it in for a front end alignment. Everything is straight and true now. When I brought the truck downstate in February I was towing a four place V-nosed snowmobile trailer down interstate I-75 without any issues. Temp, oil pressure and battery right where they are supposed to be. 22,325 miles as of today. You will never find another truck as original and clean as this one. Thank you for bidding.
